Hardworking Hands Tribute
Hands say so much about the life a person leads. Are they smooth or are they rough? Hands offer us protection, hold and give love. The hands of a volunteer held, lifted and lit. Our hardworking hands tell the story of our actions.
We are looking for those stories from our volunteers! Who has worked tirelessly over the past year? Which hands have brought relief? As an organization or requester for help, you can now sign up this volunteer for the Hardworking Hands Tribute.
Give someone up for the Hardworking Hands Tribute
We celebrate our volunteers with the Hardworking Hands Tribute – and rightly so! Because together we have achieved more than 2 million hours of voluntary commitment through Zorgzaam010 (formerly Rotterdammersvoorelkaar) alone.
We want to collect the photos of the hard-working hands and bring them together in a Rotterdam work of art, a tribute to the volunteer.
How do you register a volunteer?
- Tell us who you are and who you are signing up for the Hardworking Hands Tribute.
You can write this down in this word file that you can easily download here . - In this file you also state whether you are a requester or you work for an organization and *state the first and last name of the volunteer.
- Save the completed file and send it as an attachment via this link .**
*At a later date we will also ask the volunteers themselves to redeem their nomination by sending us their full name, email address and a photo of their hard-working hands.
**Privacy conditions: When you send the word file to the Municipality of Rotterdam, you agree to these privacy conditions. The Municipality of Rotterdam only uses the personal data you have entered to contact you about the Hardworking Hands Hulde. Of course, your contact details will not be used for anything else and will be removed from our systems after December 31.
You can register a volunteer with us until December 31, 2020! After this we will contact you and the volunteer himself.
Because many hands make light work, we hope to have as wide a reach as possible. Feel free to share the Hardworking Hands Tribute within your own network!
