Buddy wanted for help with getting a grip on your money

Budgetmaats 010 wants to offer help to Rotterdammers with financial problems in an accessible way by linking them to a Budgetmaat. The Budgetmaat offers the requester social and practical support and helps to get a grip on his or her finances (again). Promoting the financial self-reliance of the person requesting assistance is paramount at Budgetmaats 010. As a Budget Buddy you visit the person requesting help at home every week, during the current trajectory (1-2 years). You help, among other things, to gain an overview of income, expenditure and (imminent) debts, make a good budget plan, and, if necessary, provide support when registering for a Debt Assistance program. During the process you will be linked to a permanent coordinator who will guide you. What do we offer: Before they can get started, the Budget buddies receive a training of 2 Saturdays. The Budget Buddies participate in an Intervision 6-7 times a year. The Budget Buddies follow a course or workshop twice a year. Are you flexible, enthusiastic, a good listener and do you have an affinity with the target group? Then sign up and we will be happy to tell you more about Budgetmaats 010.

Challenge: build a hedgehog house

Zorgzaam010

Hedgehogs have less and less space to live. They could really use our help! Every year, 135,000 hedgehogs die in traffic alone. Fortunately, we can help the hedgehogs. The Netherlands has 3 billion square meters of garden. And gardens are an important habitat for hedgehogs. A place where they find food and shelter. By helping hedgehogs in your garden, they don't have to travel long distances to find enough food. There is less chance that they have to cross a road. You can make a difference with your garden. Make your garden hedgehog-friendly: build a hedgehog house, provide a few junk corners and food in your garden. Together we make the whole of the Netherlands a home for hedgehogs. On a happiness expedition with your team!

Stichting Geluk - Gelukswandelingen

A Happiness Walk especially for schools, companies and other groups. Make your (work) outing a happy experience and go on a happiness walk together with residents of a nursing home. Happiness walks are tailor-made especially for you and guided by artist Misja Immink. Misja from Gelukswandelingen: “We view the environment through Gelukswandelers glasses. We joyfully share our discoveries and, while talking and wondering, we find happiness and each other. Outside. On the street. Connection through wonder.” Happiness walks have been specially created for residents of nursing homes, often vulnerable elderly people who do not often go outside, and happiness activists (volunteers). Under the guidance of artist Misja Immink, a cheerful wheelchair brigade explores the neighborhood for new types of happiness. In short, during a Happiness Walk you do something good for someone else and something beautiful together as a group. The impact is great; the elderly really enjoy the wonder and being outside together. Moreover, you will get to know Rotterdam very differently, partly thanks to the surprising assignments. During the activity there is plenty of room for a short introduction and explanation. A contribution is requested for a group happiness expedition. For more information you can send us a message.
