Glow up!
Do you want to develop yourself?! GLOWUP! During this project you will invest an average of 20 hours per week in yourself for 4 to 6 months. You and other young people get together on a fixed part of the week for training sessions and activities. In addition, you will work individually or together on one of our projects and/or at host organisations. GLOWUP! is a deep investment in yourself and in the city. We work with two groups: one focused on social entrepreneurship and the other more focused on social impact. Your personal growth is central and it is also a lot of fun!
Green traineeship
Put your sustainable goals into action during the Green Traineeship! We offer you the opportunity to get to know the world of nature and environmental organizations from the inside out. Together with a group of young people, you will work one or more days a week on a green volunteer project that suits you. You are hands-on and end up with a concrete result: for example, refurbishing a nature reserve or devising and executing a campaign for sustainable living.
IMcoach
Become an IM Coach! As an IMCoach you inspire (former) students of the IMC Weekend School Foundation and help them build their own future. You are the role model for the young people. During this MDT you will also work on various coaching competencies and you will develop a broader view of the world by getting acquainted with different cultures, backgrounds and numerous professions!
As an IMCoach you can help (online) with homework or tutoring, supervise weekend school lessons, supervise newcomer children, give guest lessons yourself or organize super cool activities. 4 – 8 hours a week, which you can organize yourself!
Young + Old = Gold
Putting together a puzzle, a round through the park, or just a cup of coffee. It's that easy to fight loneliness. Become a buddy of a senior in your area. At Jong+Oud=Goud you choose a senior that suits you well in terms of interests and background. You then undertake fun activities for six months and offer practical help. For example, at the computer, shopping or traveling by public transport.
There is also a lot of attention for the development of your ideals and talents. You follow an interesting training program with professional coaches. So win-win for you and the senior!
youth ambassadors
Youth Ambassadors matches young people between 14 and 27 years old to social organisations, companies and (government) agencies. Together with other young people, you will spend a few hours a week for a few hours a week on an issue of an organization or company that matches your interests. At the start of the process, you will be assigned a youth coach and you will follow a basic training course, for example about presenting, advising and giving feedback. At the end of the process, you present the advice to the organization and the organization can get to work with it.
MDT career opportunities
Do you work and do you want to help young people with disabilities on their way in working life? Or do you have a disability and would you like to gain experience in working life? Then join this mdt project. Students and recent graduates with a disability are matched with a working young person with or without a disability. You experience the opportunities on the labor market, gain new skills and expand your network. All this is a nice addition to your CV, which makes it easier to find an internship or job. And that is sorely needed, because students with disabilities have twice as much difficulty finding the internship required for the study program as students without disabilities.

Do you want to develop yourself and roll up your sleeves for someone else? Join the MDT Mission! Get to know the Ministry of Defense and meet other young people who want to develop and commit themselves during this challenging process. In this free program you will learn military skills and drills, which you can use later in your own environment.

safe in the sea with mdt
At 'Safe in Sea with MDT' you start the process with obtaining the first aid diploma. It is very important to be able to provide first aid to a drowning person. You will also learn various swimming and survival skills. These two things together are the start of your trajectory and you will use it in practice. You gain experience at a swimming pool, swimming club or rescue brigade. What do you like and with which activity or target group would you most like to help? This way you can work together with other young people as a lifeguard on the beach or in the swimming pool or secure your events.

MDT award
The Award is a 'non formal educational' programme: a method for non-formal learning. Talent development, independence and social involvement of young people between the ages of 14 and 24 are central. The program offers a structure in which young people undertake different types of activities outside of school hours of their own choosing. They set goals for themselves and try to achieve them within a certain period of time. In doing so, they are guided by a voluntary coach: the Award Supervisor, in which 'doing it yourself' as much as possible is paramount. After completing all activities, they receive an internationally recognized certificate for that achievement: their Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.
Young Present MDT
The Present Foundation's mission is to bridge the gap between people who have something to offer and people who can be helped with it.
