The past few years have been anything but easy. Rotterdam came to a complete standstill due to the outbreak and the spread of corona. A first wave, a second wave, pressure on healthcare staff, the catering industry closed its doors, everyone had to work from home and so on. Nevertheless, Rotterdam has been at its best in recent years. Our green proud heart has never radiated so hard. We applauded en masse for care, rolled up our sleeves together for all kinds of great initiatives, wrote thousands of cards to lonely elderly people and looked at each other.
Some of these wonderful stories are depicted in an exhibition that was only on display for a few weeks at the start of the corona pandemic in the central library. We still want to pass on these stories to you and have therefore revived the exhibition from 2020 Rotterdam at its best for 2022!.
The same wonderful stories, from, for and by Rotterdammers. Rotterdam will pass it on. This exhibition can be visited for free from 19 September at various locations in the Noord, Feijenoord and IJsselmonde districts.
